It’s always useful to step back and apply common sense to marketing dilemmas. And think things through dispassionately from a customer’s perspective. Put yourself in their shoes. Like you, your customers will appreciate interesting, relevant, exciting information. But hard-selling, self-serving, trumpet blowing stuff is usually a pain in the butt.
